Paramount Medical Agencies is more than 70 years old organization and was started in the year 1947 in the name and style Paramount Medical Stores by Late V.Durga Rao. The firm was later run by his son Late V.V.Narasimha Rao, who is an entrepreneur by nature. The firm was initially started as “Sole Proprietory” business where we initially started to cater the retail customers in Visakhapatnam. In the year 1955, a whole sale entity was started by name M/s Paramount Medical Stores (wholesale) and was appointed as distributing agency for M/s Pfizer, which is our first company for distribution. As a part of business expansion in the year 1960, the firm has added two more partners and started catering to customers from far flung Icchapuram (in Srikakulam District) to Vijayawada in Krishna district , covering almost 06 districts in the North Eastern region of Andhra Pradesh.
In the year 1988, the business was taken over by Mr. V.V.R.Durga Rao (fondly called as Ramesh) who completed is graduation in commerce and law. He has also started another firm called “Vaccine House” in the year 1999 providing easy access to the doctors with expertise in cold chain facilities.
In the year 2014 we started one branch at Vijayawada exclusively for Merck – Gynec Division to cater the needs of hospitals and doctors from Vijayawada to Nellore.
